In America, today, you can't have a public space without some sort of large, hard to identify, geometric shapes pounded out of stainless steal. These pieces give the viewer a sense of comfort and alienation. "This art was made for someone," they say to themselves, "though probably not for me. I hope..." And as they sip their latte, they feel at peace with the world. At Bunk Arts, in our special Objet Appreciation course, we'll teach you to speak with these people and make them feel like they understand even less about art. You'll be able to throw around terms like "dissident contours" and "permutations of physics" like they were raisins, tossed at the patrons in front of you at a showing of "Pollock."
